Ukraine has managed to avoid the drop in gross domestic product in 2013, and at year-end GDP makes up 0%, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the Cabinet’s meeting, summing up the year 2013 , ForUm correspondent reports.

"We avoided the drop in GDP, and will leave 2013 with about 0 as compared with 2012," Azarov said.

The Prime Minister added that this year the government has managed to prevent the devaluation of the national currency and rising prices for basic consumer basket commodities. According to him, inflation for the year will not exceed 1%.
