The budget for 2014 provides 3.5 billion UAH for regional development, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul said today during a working retreat, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Next year, the fund for regional development provides 3.5 billion UAH for financing of regional development, the city of Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. This is by three times more than in 2013," he said.

According to the Vice Prime Minister, except for money from the state budget, the funds from regional and municipal budgets will be attracted for co-financing.

"This is quite large amount of funds for the development of regions," he added.
