Investigation into a violent dispersal of pro-EU demonstrators in the early hours of November 30 cannot be completed in a short time, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka stated, speaking from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm correspondent reports.

"There are objective factors that do not allow us to complete quickly the investigation, including a large amount of materials, failure to appear for questioning of victims and witnesses, including deputies. But despite this, the legal evaluation will be given to each solution and step, which were carried out at that night," Pshonka assured.

He also said that the Interior Ministry recognized that actions of the Berkut special officers on November 30 exceeded their powers.
