
Investigation into the events, taken place in Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square on November 30, is carried out in three directions, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said in Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"First, it establishes degree of culpability of "Berkut" officers and policemen. Second, it establishes the officials, who adopted certain decisions. Third, it establishes organizers of provocations and those, who directly carried out those provocations," Prosecutor General said.
As of today, more than 200 people were questioned, including leadership of the Kyiv police and the Interior Ministry of Affairs, the "Berkut" officers. 57 forensic examinations were appointed.
Pshonka added that as a result of the investigation, there was found evidence of 88 statements on inflicting injuries by policemen during confrontations on November 30.
