The Government is going to consider the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2014 at today's meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The decisions taken yesterday allowed the Cabinet to make a realistic balanced draft budget for 2014, and today we will consider it. I will not hide the fact that this is probably the most difficult of the 19 budgets I ever encountered in my practice. All of you know that we have come to consideration of this draft in extreme political environment," Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting.
Azarov is sure that under the global crisis, Ukraine is just about the only country in Europe, "which continues the policy of social standards, increase in wages, pensions and social benefits".
