Work of the Verkhovna Rada will be unblocked through negotiations in the near future, as none of the deputies wants to hold early elections, head of the Committee on Rules and MP from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Makeyenko told journalists on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Verkhovna Rada will be unblocked through negotiation. In fact, none of the deputies, except for the parties’ leaders, does not want to hold early elections. I predict a soft unblocking," the deputy said.

Responding to a clarifying question whether the deputies will hold a visiting session of the Verkhovna Rada, Makeyenko said that this is not necessary, as the parliament will start working soon. "As everyone wants to celebrate the New Year," he said.
