Arbuzov: Government makes every effort to avoid economic recession

A common task of the parliament and the government is to prevent the economic downturn and deterioration of living conditions, first deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said during the Conciliation Board in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"Now our main goal is implementation of measures to revive the economy, improve the investment and tax climate and to bring the legislative field in line with the European standards," he said.

Arbuzov noted that today a common goal of the Parliament and the government is to prevent the economic downturn and deterioration of living standards.

In this regard, the first deputy Prime Minister said that the government should initiate the operation of all compensatory mechanisms to avoid the economic recession.
