On December 17, 2013, the 6th session of Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission headed by President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin will take place in Moscow. It was stated by head of the Presidential Administration, Secretary of Ukrainian side of the Commission Serhiy Lyovochkin, the press service of the Head of State reports.

In the framework of the session, the Heads of State – Co-Heads of the Commission are planning to listen to the reports on the functioning of the commission's bodies over the period of time since the previous session of the commission and determine the landmarks of Ukrainian-Russian interaction for the nearest future.

According to Serhiy Lyovochkin, the parties will discuss practical implementation of bilateral interaction, particularly in trade-economic, energy, aviation, transport, humanitarian, atomic energy and space spheres. Special attention will be paid to further development of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and Russia.

Following the meeting, a wide range of bilateral documents is planned for signing, particularly in the spheres of economy, industrial cooperation, cross-border and cultural-humanitarian interaction.
