European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle announced his willingness to consider a request to mediate in resolving the political crisis in Ukraine. He added that he had not received such requests so far.
"I have not been addressed with such a request. If such a request is made, I will discuss it with (the head of EU diplomacy) Catherine Ashton to make sure that we can help the Ukrainian people in the best way," Füle told reporters on Thursday after talks with the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov.
