Ukrainian government launches series of consultations on the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said after the meeting with EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle in Brussels.
"Now we need to do everything to ensure that Ukraine is not lost for Europe and the European way is not lost for Ukraine. We came here to overcome the crisis and to prepare for the signing of agreement. Today we resume preparations for the signing of the Agreement, launching series of consultations on its implementation," he said.
In this regard, Arbuzov noted that a separate document, a kind of road map, is likely to be prepared for a clear understanding of how Ukraine will implement the agreement.
According to him, the principles of this document are the transparency of estimates and statistics in the context of the signing.
Furthermore, the First Vice Prime Minister said that speaking on financial cooperation with the EU, the Ukrainian government implies not "compensation", but investments in modernization of Ukraine.
