Aggravation of the political situation in the country is unlikely to affect the by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada in five constituencies to be held on Sunday, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Andriy Mahera said.

 "I think, everything should be held as usual from an organizational point of view, if there are no adventurous or other plans from various political headquarters," he added.

Deputy CEC chairman noted that recently he has focused on the 223rd constituency, since oversees Kyiv, therefore, he may not have the full information on the other four constituencies.

Mahera expressed hope that after the elections, which will be held on December 15, these five districts will not appear again problematic, as after the parliamentary elections in 2012, when the CEC acknowledged impossible to establish there election results because of the large number
