The new barricades, as well as the old, reconstructed during the night in Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square, reach five meters in height.
The biggest barricades are in the Khreshchatyk Street near the House of Trade Unions, near the Central Department Store at the intersection with the Bohda Khmelnytsky Street. Another five-meter barricade of snow bags is in the Instytutska Street.
Protesters also strengthened the barricades in the Mykhailivska Street, Kostelna Street and Volodymyrska Street.
In addition, some barricades have barbed wire at the top.
Tonight, the law enforcers did not register gross offenses in the center of Kyiv.
