Gaining access of domestic products to the Chinese market is very profitable for Ukraine, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"All countries in the world, having the ability to export agricultural products and foodstuffs, seek entering the Chinese market," he said.
According to Prysiazhniuk, it will also allow diversifying export risks.
"China is a bright example of successful strategic partnership. Of course, this is a new market for us, of course, it is also complex and competitive, but we feel the assistance of the Chinese government in presenting our products in their market," the minister said.
He also reported that in 2014 Ukraine plans to supply agricultural products to China worth at least $ 2.5 billion, and since 2015 - to have a steady supply worth no less than 3.5-4 billion dollars.
