Kyiv police have received the report on mining underground stations "Maidan Nezalezhnosti" and "Khreshchatyk" for the third time for the last twenty-four hours, ForUm learned from chief of Kyiv subway press service Natalia Shumak.
Passengers are being evacuated from these stations. "At 10:00 am, entrance to "Maidan Nezalezhnosti" was closed. "Now there are taking steps to close the "Khreshchatyk" station. The transition between these stations is already blocked," Shumak said.
According to her, the officers of police and Emergency Service have been called to the scene to check stations for presence of explosives.
"We will wait for permission of the police to open stations. After their approval, we are ready to resume normal operation," she added.
