President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will not to the opposition's demand regarding dismissal of Premier Mykola Azarov, political scientist Mykhailo Pohrebynski told a Kyiv-Moscow video conference "Political situation in Ukraine".
"I cannot imagine the President to give his consent to dismissal of the Prime Minister, because the next logical steps include dismissal of Yanukovych himself," he said.
At the same time, according to the expert, there is a possibility of talks between the President and opposition regarding the dismissal of certain members of the government.
"Half of the government can be fired with no trouble and any day, and the quality of work may even improve. Thus, the parties have so ground for talks," Pohrebynski summed up.
