The political situation in the country may have negative impact on hryvnia's rate, but if it stabilizes in the near future, currency will not depreciate, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov believes.
"Political passions will calm down sooner or later, but economic consequences may hit every citizen of Ukraine. I want people to think about their families, about tomorrow," Arbuzov said in an interview with "Ukraine" TV channel.
"If the situation is settled soon, I doubt there will be serious changes. The rate will remain within the same corridor we have now," he noted and added that things will depend on the pay balance, which is, however, expected positive.
