The country must make a pro-Ukrainian choice, MP from the Party of Regions Anatoliy Blyznyuk said during the rally "Let’s build Europe in Ukraine" in support of the strategic course of Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The country's leadership and the President understand the EU’s desire to join Ukraine to Europe. Russia's desire to leave Ukraine in status of equal partner is also clear. However, as the President says, we need to make a pro-Ukrainian choice. We should analyze and implement the best practices of Europe and Russia in Ukraine," MP said.
According to him, Ukraine must remain the political subject and independent country. "The country's leadership is doing everything to minimize the losses and find the options that would help develop our country, and improve lives of Ukrainians," Blyznyuk summed up.
