During the meeting in Sochi on December 6, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Vladimir Putin paid attention to a wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Ukrainian Head of State reports.

"The Presidents discussed, in particular, the development of cooperation in production sector, as well as high-tech and financial spheres. The parties paid attention to cooperation between Ukraine and Russia in energy sector," the statement said.

The President also discussed issues in the context of preparations for the meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission.

"Possible Ukraine's accession to the Customs Union was not discussed during the meeting. No documents were signed during the meeting," the press service stressed.
