Information about seizure of the Kyiv television centre by law enforcement officers is not true, the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Kyiv reports.
The police explained that on December 6, during a rally near the Shevchenkivsky district court some people expressed intentions regarding blocking of the Kyiv television centre.
"In this regard, we decided to send law enforcement officers to the television centre building to maintain public order and prevent crimes," the statement said.
Now there are police around the building. Violations of public order have not been fixed, the police added.
