Arbuzov instructs set up commission on AA implementation

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov instructed to set up interdepartmental commission on implementation of trade-economic and sectoral provisions of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and to hold a meeting of the commission. This is stated in the relevant instructions to the heads of departments of the economic bloc of the government, the press service of the first vice-premier reports.

In particular, Arbuzov instructed to prepare a position paper on the preparation and implementation of the initialed draft Association Agreement. 

Document should take into account EU’s approaches to consultations on the conditions for signing the agreement and macroeconomic situation in Ukraine, the estimates of impact of tariff liberalization on the formation of the state budget.

It must also take into account the valuation of development and introduction of legislation that should be brought into line with EU legislation, as well as analysis of the impact of free trade with the EU on the formation of nomenclature in export trade with the CIS member-states and the countries of the Customs Union.

In addition, the document should take note of the involvement of financial and technical assistance from the EU, international financial institutions and donor countries for the implementation of the Agreement.
