Flag of the European Union was hoisted near the Kyiv City Council.
According to the press service of the Kyiv department of the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna”, the initiators of the flag-raising, members of the presidium of the General assembly of Kyiv residents, held in the building of the KCSA, said that "the EU flag should have been hoisted since the first day of the Euromaidan action to show that the city of Kyiv belongs to the European commonwealth and emphasize the European choice of Kyiv residents".
