Blocking of the government and the Parliament impedes the development and adoption of projects that have been approved by the EU in the framework of the continuation of work to conclude the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov started at a meeting with foreign ministers of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski and of the Kingdom of Sweden Carl Bild within the 20th Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
"The blocking of the government and the Parliament has actually impedes the development and adoption of legislation that we have identified in our action plan that agreed with the EU. It really hampers the way on European integration of Ukraine," Mykola Azarov said.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed that the holding of tripartite consultations among Ukraine and Russia and the European Union will contribute to the speedy signing of the Association Agreement.
Azarov said that the blocking of the activity and administrative buildings taking by force hinder the current problems of the multimillion country and can cause problems with the implementation of social benefits.
The Prime Minister stressed that all conflicts must be resolved only through negotiations. "I’m totally against the use of force. I’m willing to keep my temper. But every day in this extremely difficult situation, we should find solutions and irresponsible politicians shouldn’t interfere in this," the Prime Minister said.
