Disbalance of the political system will postpone the European perspective and lead to the economic collapse, Ukrainian first deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said in an interview with Channel 5 yesterday.
Arbuzov noted that the country is on its way to the historic signing of the Association Agreement with the EU.
According to him, the Ukrainian government is ready to discuss proposals from the opposition regarding the settlement of the current situation in the country, including on the possible holding of early parliamentary and presidential elections in Ukraine.
"We need to hold negotiations, during which we will discuss any official proposals when they are put forward," he said, when asked whether the holding of early parliamentary and presidential elections could be a way out of the current political situation in the country.
But he stressed that the country cannot hold any elections now, when it is going through a very difficult economic situation. Today, the political parties need to calm down, unblock the work of legislative body and finally begin adopting the vital bills.
