National meeting participants begin demonstration in Kyiv

The meeting participants have begun marching from the Taras Shevchenko park toward the Besarabska Square.

As ForUm correspondent reports, the activists unfurled two large flags of Ukraine and the European Union.

The protesters plan to stop in the main square of the capital, where people from the Mykhailivska Square will join them.

There is a police cordon near the monument to Lenin.
