Ukrainian society learned that European integration has its price, and demonstrated willingness to assume the risks associated with the signing of the Association Agreement and FTA with the EU. Such an opinion was expressed by director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies Andriy Yermolaev during a roundtable "European prospects of Ukraine: Opportunities and Risks", ForUm correspondent reports.

"The active members of society have demonstrated their readiness to take responsibility for further European changes," he said.

Yermolaev believes that at the summit in Vilnius the parties may sign the Memorandum on further European integration of Ukraine.

As for the next phase of action, then, in his opinion, Europe will need to find new leverages and opportunities to adjust the Neighbourhood Policy, whose drawbacks emerged during Ukraine's preparations for the signing of the Association with the EU.
