The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft Law of Ukraine "On list of administrative services and payment (administrative fees) for their provision". According to Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the purpose of the law is to ensure transparency, legality, and legal certainty in the system of administrative services, the Information-Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine informs.
The bill will be used to approve a comprehensive list of free and paid administrative services, as well as the fees for their provision.
The list includes 1,510 administrative services. Also, the bill envisions that provision of other services - not included in the list - is prohibited. The new administrative services will be introduced exclusively through new laws, with simultaneous amending the list of administrative services.
The Law "On Administrative Services" defined the basic principles of reforming a system of administrative services and its further functioning. Thus, the Law defined the very concept of "administrative services" and a set of basic requirements for regulation of their provision, including deadlines and informing of them.
It also set a direct prohibition for illegal demanding of documents/information from the applicant. These and many other innovations of the Law can be considered revolutionary for Ukraine.
