Two criminal proceedings were opened over attempts of supporters of European integration to storm the Cabinet’s building, spokeswoman of the Kyiv Interior Ministry department Olga Bilyk told ForUm correspondent.
According to her, proceedings were initiated under Article 296 (hooliganism) and Article 342 (resistance to a law enforcement officer in execution of his duty) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
"Criminal cases are opened not against anyone in particular, but over use of tear gas, smoke bombs, fireworks, throwing stones and the broken fence with a barrier," Bilyk explained.
