About three thousand protesters have gathered in Shevchenko Park to participate in rally in support for Ukraine's European integration. They plan to walk a peaceful march to the Yevropeiska Square within the action "For European Ukraine".
The bulk of the protesters hold flags of opposition political parties. Fewer people hold flags of Ukraine and the EU.
Protesters are handed out ribbons with symbols of Ukraine and the EU.
People, gathering in the park, have come from Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Ternopil regions. In addition, there are activists from Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv.
In general, the situation is calm, many of the participants take photos near the Shevchenko monument, communicate with each other. A large number of law enforcement officers is not observed.
Procession will start walking from the Shevchenko Park to the Yevropeiska Square should begin at 12.00.
