The Ukrainian government is negotiating lowering gas prices and getting a loan with Russia, leader of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Yefremov stated.
"I know that the Cabinet of Ministers and experts are working in this direction with Russia," Yefremov said at a briefing on Friday, when asked if agreements on decreasing gas prices and receiving a credit were reached with Russia.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has managed to cut Russia down by $20 billion, attributing this to lowering gas prices, Batkivschyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk said earlier on Friday.
