Ukraine and Slovakia are very close to signing the agreement on gas supplies from Slovakia in the reverse mode, press secretary of the EU Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger stated.
"We are close to signing the agreement. This agreement will allow Ukraine and Slovakia to begin reverse gas supply from Slovakia to Ukraine," spokeswoman of the EU Commissioner for Energy Marlene Holzner said.
She added that there is no more information, but the agreement can be signed "in the coming days".
