Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych still plans to attend the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, Yanukovych' aide Andriy Honcharuk said.
Despite the suspension of preparations to sign the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the visit of Yanukovych to Vilnius still makes sense, the aide said, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The visit remains as planned… Firstly, other agreements will be signed there but not at the presidential level, and secondly, a number of countries do not sign anything at all," Honcharuk said.
