The Cabinet of Ministers will discuss the requirements of the International Monetary Fund on increase in tariffs, freezing salaries, reducing energy and agriculture subsidies, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Ukraine faces serious problems in connection with our obligations to the International Monetary Fund. Yesterday I received a letter and I want to quote some of the provisions. Conditions: higher tariffs for gas and heating for the population by about 40%, the obligations to freeze base salary, minimum salary, total nominal salary at the current level, a significant reduction of expenditure for budget targets, reduced energy subsidies, phasing out the VAT exemption for agriculture and other industries and other conditions," the Prime Minister announced the requirements.
