Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak announced 30-minute break in the plenary session to hold consultations on the draft law on the prosecutor’s office, ForUm correspondent reports.

Rybak invited the leaders of the factions to the meeting.

Deputy chairman of the Parliament’s committee on legislative support of law enforcement, MP from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Oliynyk said that there is a need to consider about 620 amendments submitted to the bill.

"Therefore, the working group on the draft law should in a short time to examine all the amendments, take them into account and submit the bill for final consideration. We have to pass a serious law in line with European standards," Oliynyk said.
