People's deputies, members of the working group on development of the bill on treatment of prisoners abroad, agreed that a prisoner may be released for treatment abroad for a period of 1 year, with a possible extension for another year with the appropriate conclusion of the Penitentiary Service of Ukraine, a Ukrainian medical institution and a foreign medical institution, ready to treat a convict.
As ForUm correspondent reports, two hours of debate in the working group were followed by a break, adjourning the meeting until 2 p.m. tomorrow.
