Parliamentary opposition delays the adoption of European integration bills, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The facts prove that today the opposition factions are doing everything possible not sign the AA in Vilnius, as Ukraine may not fulfill all its obligations," he said.
In particular, Yefremov said that on November 18, another bill on treatment of prisoners abroad appeared that was prepared by a group of human rights defenders and was sent to the working group by representatives of the UDAR faction.
Yefremov also criticized the situation with preparation for the second reading of the bill on prosecutor's office.
"They say that there have been 800 amendments, 500 of which were made by the opposition representatives, and these amendments may be not removed," the MP said.
He also considers it inappropriate to introduce ten amendments proposed by the opposition to the bill on prosecutor's office. "We must decide whether we adopt this bill without any conditions or not, " he said.
According to him, the third bill on amendments to electoral law also received many amendments - about 300. "Why? This is just a technical bill regulating norms that were missed during the joint adoption of the previous bill," Yefremov summed up.
