In view of the recent plane crash in Russia, the bodies of central government must check the safety of air transportation in Ukraine. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak made such a proposal, speaking in the session hall, ForUm correspondent reports.
Rybak stressed that the authorities should review the status of implementation of the requirements regarding the safety of air travel and take the necessary measures to prevent accidents during the flight.
"We will present the relevant protocol instruction of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," said.
In addition, MPs observed a minute of silence in honor of those killed in a plane crash in Kazan.
