The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine confirmed that a citizen of Ukraine was on board of the "Boeing" crashed at the airport in Kazan.
"We confirm this information. Consul from Nizhni Novgorod went to the scene," the Ministry’s spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said in comment to ForUm correspondent.
He noted that Ukraine will help the relatives of the deceased. "Ukraine will help the relatives of the deceased (to deliver the body to Ukraine - Ed.). Now her body is in the forensic bureau. We have to wait until all the procedures are completed and then the body may be repatriated," he concluded.
Nov. 17, a Boeing 737-500 airliner crashed on landing in the Russian city of Kazan on Sunday, killing all 50 on board.
