Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said that Europe wants to sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine, but the final decision depends on the leadership of the country.
Such a position of the Lithuanian president was announced on Friday by the BNS Baltic news agency.
"Europe is ready. The doors to the European family are still open. Decision has to be made up by Ukraine," the President said, commenting on the possible signing of the EU - Ukraine Association Agreement at the Vilnius summit.
Grybauskaite refused to predict the results of the summit.
"Without a doubt, the leaders of Ukraine must take responsibility for this decision," she added.
