Social Policy Ministry implements gender equality program

The Social Policy Ministry of Ukraine is working on the implementation of the state program on gender equality.

This was announced by minister Natalia Korolevska at the road map forum dedicated to the implementation of the state program on ensuring equal rights and opportunities of women and men by 2016, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have a powerful tool in the form of government programs. Our task is to make a program the real document, which would work every day and give specific results," she said.

She noted that a number of legislative initiatives to promote employment among women is already prepared.
