The Polish authorities intend to convince its partners in the European Union to sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine at the next summit of "Eastern Partnership" in Vilnius at the end of November, head of the Polish government Donald Tusk stated.

He called conditions for the signing of this document difficult, ensuring that the Polish authorities intend to continue to make efforts for the Agreement to be signed.

"We will do everything possible to convince Europe and Ukraine to sign the Association Agreement, but it is more difficult today than a month ago," the Prime Minister of Poland said.

Therefore, according to him, it is necessary to make even greater efforts.

In addition, Tusk drew attention to the pressure of the Russian Federation on Ukraine and to the resistance of Ukrainians, who oppose to the European integration.

He said that he discussed the "Ukrainian issue" with the special representatives of the European Parliament Alexander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox.

Tusk assured that Poland will act using the special mission of the European Parliament and its own authorities in the issue of signing the Agreement.
