EU leaders should consider the possibility of postponing implementation of the conditions, set to Ukraine for signing of the Association Agreement. President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski said this on November 14 in the evening program Fakty po Faktach on Polish TV-channel TVN24.
"The EU should, on the one hand, act in order to fulfill all the conditions, but it should also be prepared to take action ... Is it possible to implement some of them in the next phase, which will be the ratification of the Agreement, requiring the consent of all the countries - members of the community," he said.
He stressed that now he is "less optimistic" about the prospects of passing the law, which would allow ex- Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to go abroad for treatment, than he was few weeks ago.
Despite this, Komorowski said he did not lost hope and was willing to continue working for a positive result.
Komorowski also urged to make every effort to integrate Ukraine into the EU, instead of participating in integration projects of the Russian Federation, as it will have negative consequences for Europe.
