The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is actively seeking new markets for selling domestic products in Asia, South America and the Middle East, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said during a meeting with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the regional chambers of commerce of Ukraine.
"Today, we are working on access to the markets of Asia, South America and the Middle East. Thus, more than 60 enterprises and companies are actively involved in the process. They work in the metal, engineering, chemical, industrial and pharmaceutical industries, in the construction sector, in the production of medical equipment, and services sector. A special attention is paid to the support of domestic producers on foreign markets," the head of the Foreign Ministry stressed.
Kozhara noted that today an important aspect of work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to create conditions for the establishment of the most favorable trade regimes for the national business. Another important aspect is signing international treaties providing for the removal of technical barriers and the formation of free trade zones.
