The Foreign Ministry is ready to support the Ukrainian business to adapt to the European market, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said during a meeting with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the regional chambers of commerce of Ukraine.
"The preparation for the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement ends. An integral part of this agreement is a deep and comprehensive free trade area. The agreement will not only open access of Ukrainian goods to European markets, but will be a pointer to the systematic modernization of the Ukrainian economy, and will help to improve investment attractiveness of our country," he noted.
Kozhara stressed that creation of the FTA with the EU will be a significant challenge for the Ukrainian manufacturers, who will have to adapt to the new conditions.
At the same time, he said, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is ready to support business in entering the European markets.
