President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoliy Mogilev. The parties discussed socio-economic development of the region, the press service of the head of state reports.

"I reported on the socio-economic situation in Crimea, on our prospects and problems. The President listened to them and gave instructions to improve our situation," Anatoliy Mogilev said after the meeting.

On behalf of all Crimean citizens, Anatoliy Mogilev expressed gratitude to Viktor Yanukovych for the signature of the law on peculiarities of investment activity in Crimea. To his mind, it will lead to the increase of economic potential of the region.

According to him, the Head of State stressed that "social initiatives of the President should be constantly implemented and I must personally control the fulfillment of these high social standards".

"We will definitely fulfill this task," he assured.

The parties also discussed certain investment projects represented at the IV International Black Sea Economic Forum in Yalta held on October 24-25.

"I reported on the elaborations with potential investors. The President approved individual global projects in Crimea. Now, we have a green card for the implementation of these projects," A. Mogilev noted.
