The European Parliament's observation mission, consisting of former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox, hopes that Parliament will take all necessary European integration laws at a meeting on November 19, Kwasniewski told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Today, we met with the speaker of Parliament, the leaders of the Party of Regions faction and the opposition leaders, and we understand that it was not possible to take all the laws that are necessary for the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union at the end of the month," he said.

Kwasniewski expressed hope that the working group will prepare a draft law on treatment of prisoners abroad during a few days before the next plenary session of the Parliament.

The representative of the observation mission also informed that he and the former European Parliament President will report to the European Parliament at 6 pm.

"We expect that everything will be so as we agreed with our partners, we understand that this is politically very difficult, but we hope that there will be enough good will to find a consensus," Kwasniewski said.
