Parliament fails to work out a concerted draft bill on treatment of the convicts aboard
The parliament of Ukraine will not consider today the draft bill on convicts' treatment abroad, as it has not been worked out yet, Gennady Vasilyev, head of the temporary working group engaged into development of the bill, told the morning sitting, ForUm's correspondent reports.

"The working group has indeed sought a consensus, but we have failed to agree on the majority of paragraphs. Only a third part of the bill clauses have been approved. We've spent a day, but have not achieved anything," he said.

According to him, the MPs have failed to develop a draft bill, which would satisfy all political forces. "Discussions and debates have not given positive results, thus we still do not have a concerted draft bill," the official summed up.

The parliament has registered a draft bill "On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on humanization of execution of certain types of punishment." A document, worked out by the MPs of the temporary working group, has been registered under the number 3599, official website of the parliament reports.
