The Kyiv council has approved a city purpose-oriented program of local incitements for medical workers for 2013-2016, according to which the latter will get salary increment, financed by the city budget.
In particular, salaries of all health workers of the first and second levels will be increased by 20%, while medical workers of the emergency medical services and hospices will get 50% salary increment, head of the healthcare department of the Kyiv city state administration Vitaly Mokhorev told journalists, ForUm's correspondent reports.
Moreover, the program provides for a quota for health workers following the program "Affordable housing 70/30".
In total, the financing of the approved program for medical workers makes one billion 800 million hryvnias.
