Kyiv City Council secretary Halyna Hereha has opened the meeting of the city council.
As ForUm correspondent reports, 66 deputies are registered in the session hall.
The agenda includes 251 drafts.
Hereha noted that today's meeting will address a number of issues related to incentives for health workers, urban planning and land use issues.
Rally participants, who had gathered near the building of the Kyiv City Council, headed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
They include about 300 representatives of opposition parties and non-governmental organizations.
According to the protesters, they will insist on holding the elections of Kyiv mayor and city council members, as well as on the adoption of European integration laws.
