The working group on drafting the law on treatment of prisoners abroad adjourned its sitting until tomorrow morning without reaching a unanimous decision, ForUm correspondent reports.

After a long debate, chairman of the Parliament’s committee on legislative support for law enforcement Andriy Kozhemyakin (“Batkivshchyna” faction) said that the bill, drafted by opposition today, will be registered in the Parliament and submitted to the hall tomorrow, after which all the people's representatives from the minority left the meeting room.

He added that the bill will be submitted without decision of the relevant committee, since it is impossible to convene it today.

Previously, MP Iryna Herashchenko voiced the demand of the “UDAR” faction, calling the Party of Regions to draft their own bill and submit it for the consideration of the group.

MP from the Party of Regions faction Volodymyr Oliynyk stressed once again that the faction will not submit a bill, but ready to draft a document within a working group consisting of representatives of all factions and individual deputies, through reaching consensus.
