The President of Ukraine and the government are doing everything possible to restore normal trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian public associations of the disabled, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We worry about the situation in economic and trade terms with our economic partner, which has 30% of our turnover. It includes not only preservation of jobs, but also finding of necessary resources for development," he said.
Earlier, head of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov said that there will be no gap in trade relations between Ukraine and Russia if Kyiv signs the Association Agreement with the European Union.
